EELC Advisory Board held a meeting

On 31 May, the honourable Advisory Board of EELC held its meeting. The Advisory Board decided to approve the financial and activity report of 2011, listened to the overview of EELC activities from EELC executive committee (Ex Comm), and selected Kärt Vaarmari and Siim Vahtrus as members of the EELC Ex Comm for the next two years.

The Advisory Board also discussed the need to guarantee free legal help by the state, and approved the proposal from EELC Ex Comm to apply for membership of the Estonian Network of Estonian Nonprofit Organizations, NENO (or EMSL in Estonian).

Since March 2011, members of EELC Advisory Board are:

Jüri-Ott Salm, chairman of executive committee of Estonian chairman of executive committee of ELF (Estonian Fund for Nature)
Kaja Peterson, environmental expert of Institute for Sustainable Development (SEI-Tallinn)
Kaarel Relve, lecturer of environmental law in Tartu University
Airi Andresson, auditor in National Audit Office in Estonia.
