Justice&Environment received support for its 2012 Work Plan

Justice&Environment (J&E), an association of public interest environmental law organizations in the EU, to which the EELC also belongs, has received financial support from the European Commission's LIFE + NGO Grants instrument. Support will be used by J&E for the implementation of its 2012 Work Plan.

The 2012 Work Plan includes a number of activities on different topics, e.g. a comparative study on the implementation of Environmental Liability Directive in different EU Member States and a study on how climate considerations are being taken into account in environmental impact assessment.

J&E received support from the European Commisson’s LIFE + NGO Grants instrument also for its 2011 Work Plan, which outputs are available on the homepage of J&E. In 2011, EELC did not take part in the implementation of the Work Plan, whereas in 2012 EELC will again take part in the legal work of J&E.
